"Brooke and the team at Yamari Ochre Signs have collaborated with Lendlease’s One Sydney Harbour project to deliver an artwork activation called ‘Stories in the Sky.’ The talented team Yamari reinterpret artworks created by local children and transform them into 6m wide stencils which are applied to the core of the residential buildings during construction. The team demonstrate such creativity to ensure that each child’s artwork is accurately represented from drawing to digital vector design to stencil.
Each stencil is turned around efficiently to meet the program requirements with communication provided every step of the way from artwork to delivery on site. Brooke has also gone above and beyond with her support for this activation, taking the time to join a webinar for High School students in Greater Sydney to talk about the process required for Stories in the Sky, the work Yamari Ochre Signs does and career opportunities available in the industry.
